What materials do you use for miniature reproduction?

We use metal (zamac or tin alloys) and high-definition resin. Metal is ideal for sturdy pieces and frequent play, while resin excels at fine details and customization.

  • Master molds (silicone) to preserve the original design.
  • Repeatable production molds, designed for hundreds of reproductions, depending on the material (centrifugal casting for metal and casting for resin).
  • Metal molds are prepared for centrifugal casting, high pressure, and heat.
  • Resin molds allow for gravity or pressure/vacuum casting, and usually have vents to prevent air bubbles.

Resin is safe if handled correctly: it requires measured mixtures and a well-ventilated environment. In artistic casting, protective equipment such as masks, nitrile gloves, and eye protection are used.

We work with quantities ranging from 100 to 10,000 units per model. We recommend resin for short runs (due to ease of molding) and metal for long runs (due to robustness and lower unit cost).
